Amalie Kinsarvik Tvilde is a melodeon player from Kinsarvik in Hardanger. She will hold two concerts at Skredhaugen this summer, on Wednesday, July 10, and Wednesday, July 17, at 6:00 PM.

Amalie is both a solo performer, dancer, and educator. She is an important bearer of traditional material from Hardanger and Voss and has immersed herself in the hardanger fiddle tradition from these areas. She has also worked extensively with the fiddle tradition from Nordland, Finnskogen, and Røros. Her repertoire ranges from dance music, rural tunes, old-style dance tunes, to lyrical compositions.

Amalie also has several concerts at Agatunet and the Hardanger Folk Museum in July.

The exhibition «Mellom bakkar og berg» and the art collection of Jon Bleie will be open. The Friends of Skredhaugen will serve coffee and some treats. Everyone, young and old, is warmly welcome.
