Have a taste of krotakaker!

Every Thursday during the school summer holidays, the Vikebygd and Aga Women’s Association bake krotakaker in the traditional baking cellar of Haldorsstova.

Visitors can watch traditional baking in a wood-fired oven and buy freshly baked cakes straight from the oven. You might even get a little taste!

Baking begins at around 11:00 a.m., and the cakes are baked and sold until 3:00 p.m., or until they are sold out.
