This summer, you can get to know the history, craftsmanship and traditions of our museums better. A guided tour gives you more insight into your visit, with stories and expert knowledge from our guides. The guided tour is included in the admission ticket.

Join a guided tour of the protected cluster farmstead and learn more about its history, buildings and everyday life. The tour includes Lagmannsstova, which is usually closed to the public.

Hardanger Folk Museum
On the hillside above Hardanger Folk Museum lies the idyllic museum farmstead, designed as a traditional cluster farmstead as it may have looked before the land consolidation reforms at the end of the 19th century. The farmstead includes valuable buildings from Hardanger, such as dwelling houses, storehouses, barns and a bakehouse.
Guided tours in July:
Tuesdays: 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm
Wednesdays: 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm
Fridays: 12:00 noon and 1:00 pmThe tour ends with a folk music concert.
Hardanger Maritime Centre
Experience a living maritime museum with traditional craftsmanship, boatbuilding, ropemaking and the restoration of historic vessels.
Guided tours every day at 1:00 pm during the summer season.
Voss Folk Museum
